Growing up in Rhode Island, in a community where people cared for one another, his goal is to make everyone feel like they belong. A man with a passion for health and well being. He is committed to serving organic, healthy food to help prevent nutritional deficiencies in individuals in need.
Anthony is an innovator and business man who’s entrepreneurial career spans over 40 years. Exploring creative methods for providing nutrient packed food blended with sharp business skills; we now have a sustainable model to be duplicated in communities nationwide.
Chief Operations Officer
Dedicated to improving the lives of those around her. Andrea has directed programs to help people get off the streets and live healthy, productive lifestyles. She is a community role model with a strong drive to leave the Earth better than when she found it. Andrea is also the lead certified yoga instructor for our PTSD Yoga Therapy Program offered in Santa Barbara to Veteran’s, Women, and Seniors.
Asset Management / Board Chair
With a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University, Jason is the Chief Operating Officer of Trampolines Unlimited, Inc. and an investment management professional with an extensive experience as a Securities Analyst, co-manager of equity fund and multi-asset strategy. In his 5 years as a professional squash player, Jason represented the United States in 3 world championships.
Vice President MBT
Robert is a Vice President and Senior Branch Manager for the Montecito Branch of Montecito Bank and Trust. Robert has worked for Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Rabobank. Prior to banking he worked for NBC and FOX Television in sales and marketing. He grew up in Santa Barbara and graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics. Additional to Organic Soup Kitchen, Robert is involved in many other charitable organizations such as the Special Olympics, the American Heart Association, and The Montecito Rotary Club.
Cheryl and her husband have been involved in real-estate investments for the last 20 years. She has turned her passion for serving others throughout the Santa Barbara Community by raising thousands of dollars for many local charities, including Organic Soup Kitchen. She has been on the board of directors for Sarah House, and has helped raise money extensively for Casa Serena and Transition House.
Certified Nutritionist / Secretary
Nancy (Ninaya) is a local lifestyle coach, nutritionist, and detox specialist. She has been working as a lifestyle nutritionist coach since 1993 at the Santa Barbara Wellness Directory, Inc, prior to this she was the director at The Wellness Clinic for Anthony Robbins Companies. It is her intention to support and inspire others on their path to health and wellness.
DJ has been working at the university for the last 30 plus years as a Program Advisor in the Reciprocal Exchange offices for the study abroad program at University of Santa Barbara California. She has been volunteering her services since 2009 and handles all media relations.
Producer / Writer
A 25 year Santa Barbara resident, David is a novelist, screenwriter and producer. He taught Creative Writing at Antioch University before founding, with Peter Brill, MD, The Third Age Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping people learn how to grow older with passion, purpose and joy. With Dr. Brill he co-wrote the book, “Finding Your J Spot: Joy in Midlife and Beyond”.
Anjali has been an avid volunteer with OSK for the last 3 years. She volunteers weekly for our housing based partnership program.
Melanie has been working as a graphic marketing director for the last 25 years for Neiman Marcus, Karl Storz, and many other local and national businesses. She has been volunteering her services to OSK for the last 3 years.
