A California State Certificate program in kitchen safety techniques and standards. Qualified at-risk and low income individuals will be awarded a certificate at the end of this twelve-week program that will prepare them to work in a professional food preparation environment. Our workshops will also offer resume writing, internship placement with local healthy chefs, and on-the-job support. Graduates will also work for OSK as part of our “give back” philosophy. (Program launches in 2011.)
