Organic Soup Kitchen was founded by Anthony Carroccio, a man with a passion for health and well being. He is committed to serving organic, healthy food to help prevent nutritional deficiencies in homeless individuals.
Anthony grew up in Rhode Island in a small community where neighbors would invite you over and the first thing they would say is, "Didja eat?" No matter how you responded, a plate of food would appear. Life was good. People cared for one another. No matter what else was going on, you knew that you belonged
Anthony strives to contribute this feeling of belonging to as many people as possible, and believes that a part of doing that is to feed them great, wholesome food. By exploring creative methods for providing nutrient packed food to those who need it most, Anthony is an innovator in the non-profit community.
Experimentation with new and exotic ingredients is transforming the quality and health of publicly served food, as well as improving the economic viability of charity.
